Mobile Banking

The service is used for transactions using the Caritas MFB USSD and the Caritas Pay App by Caritas MFB customers who hold Caritas accounts.

How to access mobile banking

  • Mobile registered customers dial *810# using the registered mobile number and follow the prompts.
  • A 4-digit OTP is sent to the registered number.
  • Redial *810# and enter the OTP sent.
  • Enter a new PIN and confirm the new PIN.
  • Redial *810# and enter the new PIN — you will automatically be redirected to the menus to access mobile services.

How to access the Caritas Pay app

  • Download the Caritas Pay application from the Play Store / App Store.
  • If you are a new customer to the bank, self-register on USSD first, then download the Caritas Pay app.
  • If you are an existing customer, verify your mobile number and proceed to log in.
  • Select your preferred menus and follow the prompts.

An agent is an entity that has been contracted by the MFB and approved by the Central Bank to provide the services of the MFB on behalf of the MFB.

What you can do at an agent

  • Cash deposits and withdrawals.
  • Balance enquiry and mini statements.
  • Bill payments and funds transfer.
  • Account opening support.

Before you transact

  • Confirm the agent is a branded Caritas outlet.
  • Carry a valid national ID.
  • Never share your PIN with the agent.
  • Keep the receipt until the transaction reflects on your account.

How to get started

  • Visit a branch or dial *810# to request internet banking.
  • You will receive your user ID and a temporary password.
  • Log in and set a new password on first use.

  • View balances and download statements.
  • Transfer funds between your accounts.
  • Pay bills and manage beneficiaries.

Branch Banking

Visit any Caritas Microfinance Bank branch for account opening, loans, and services that need a member of staff.

Branch hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm.
  • Saturday: 8:00am to 12:00pm.
  • Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

What to bring

  • Original national ID or passport.
  • KRA PIN certificate for new accounts.
  • Passport photo where the form asks for one.
